About Us
Who We Are
N.L.T. was founded December 12, 1982 by Pastors Jerry and Merlene Haynes.
After many years of pastoring and evangelizing, they felt called to the Branson area.
The next 25 years were spent building a church family.
On December 9, 2007, the mantle was passed to Jerry and Merlene’s son Bruce and
his wife Zoe. Bruce is now the Senior Pastor. Bishop Jerry and Sister Merlene spend
time traveling the country, encouraging young pastors and overseeing New Life
Temple’s Missions Department.
Our goal is to lead people toward a relationship with Jesus Christ and disciple them
with good, solid teaching from the Word of God.
We are committed to our children and young people, believing that if we instill Godly
values in them, they will not depart from those teachings.
We are heavily involved in restoration. For two decades, the New Life Restoration Center
has been helping men and women get back on their feet by giving them the tools they
need for victorious living.
